I just recently purchased a new DFX 300 and have been waiting for days to try it out. It has been raining a lot here in Knoxville, Tennessee and last night after work I decided to try it out. I went to an old ball field in Lenoir City which was very close and wanted to try it because I have hunted it before and found a lot of coins. I used the coin/jewelry mode and with tone id on I got multiple readings on first swing. When I unearthed my plug I could see quarters, dimes and pennies in the hole and in the plug. This one hole yielded 3 quarters, 2 dimes and 6 pennies. I continued to search this field for about an hour finding several more coins. The total for one hour was 6 quarters, 9 dimes and 11 pennies. The oldest was a 1968 dime. Nothing really old enough to warrant a picture but I will put a picture of monthly finds at end of month and post any older finds as I find them.
