One of my favorite bands

Interesting sound there :icon_thumleft: Is that band accompanied with an orchestra? I thought I heard some violins throughout the song. :icon_scratch: I never heard of them until now, but how do their other songs sound in comparison to this one, and where do they hail from?

Impressive! I see hints of giltter/glam rock and heroin chic combining for anthemic, riff-laden rock and roll crunchiness!

You see all that?? I want what you're having :laughing9: You are right though, they do have a lot going on in their sound and look.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they are a Christian band.

I hadn't heard of them until a few months ago. I've been listening to the Rock station on Music Choice on TV. I think the first song I heard was "Monster" then the next was "Hero". I checked their website a while back and was surprised to learn that they were a Christian rock band. I like the music, especially the violins. :icon_thumleft:

VaYank, they are guuuuuuuud! I like most genre of music, and my fav 'listening' music is classic Motown R&B, but being 'somewhat' of a singer/musician, I can appreciate all musical talent. Thanks for sharing, Breezie

My whole family has liked this band for years. We never got to work with them but have been at the same festivals a couple times. You're like me Breezie I like all types of music. As long as it is done well. I love stuff that has a bit of an edge to it though.

Oh, I like an edge to it too, but as far as ROCK is concerned, I like the classics, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Allman Brothers, etc.

Oh yeah I like that stuff too

I met John a long time ago when I used to work in that industry... and I've been listening to them since their first self-titled cd. I have all of their albums, and it's been such a joy to watch them mature and progress as the years pass by... unlike MANY other artists in that circle who have died off.
They've definitely remained strong and kept a solid testimony all these years! Heh, it's also been neat to see his relationship with his (now) wife progress as well. :) The new drummer is fantastic on the cello also... she's really added alot of talent to this already amazing band!

Bran, I've never met or worked with them but can agree with you about everything you said. I have always been impressed at how they are able to keep their music current.

Yeah I was practicing to become a music critic. Do I have what it takes?
I actually did one for a band called Tattooed Millionaires that wasn't well recieved.
