26 degrees and sunny this morning so I had to give it a try for the new year. Found a piece of ground at a soccer field that was in the sun that I could get my digger in after the first inch of frozen ground so I started detecting. There were so many quarter hits that I quit digging anything below them since the ground was like concrete. Then BAM... 91 in all directions and about the size of a pop can. I dug it anyway and wow! A 1972 Eisenhower dollar 4" down and laying perfectly flat! $9.02 worth the clad in 2 hours and I got my fix in before the 4" of snow hits tonight.
