Not found today but Saturday on a residential lot where a house was demoed after the 2004 hurricane season.
I'm thinking the 2 items on the right may have been one result from an energetic date night in the early 60's maybe?
I found them in rapid succession about 4' from each other. The coins were in the same lot but scattered about.
When I showed the gold foil to my stepson, without his glasses on, he asked if it was Spanish gold? He couldn't drop it fast enough when I told him what it was. LOL
(I did remind him I had been metal detecting, not latex detecting.)
EDIT: When I looked up the Circle Rubber Corp. I found a story from 1989 about a bunch (50,000) of defective ones confiscated and destroyed. Yikes and Dada for a buch of fellas if they hadn't been confiscated.
