........Back from the dead

?
Anyways....I have a one-room schoolhouse on my list of 'Must Hunts'.
Cool thing is that it was restored and hosts a huge family reunion every summer. Lawn is groomed beautiful & everything.
Stil has the actual outhouse biding intact (restored).
It's on my list and i will get permission this summer.
I'll post some pics of it here.
Annnnnnd.....
the building DIRECTLY next to my parent's house was once the town's single room schoolhouse. Dates back to the 1860's, I believe. Still stands today.
In fact......my parent's house (built in the 1960's) was a small open property where the kids would play. We actually have a pic back from 1905 (I believe that's the date).
Nearby is also a church that dates back to the 1850's.
Can you believe it......I'm embarrassed to admit this......but I actually only hunted TWO places late last summer. Work picked up....and I couldn't seem to find the time to hunt.
I have vowed to really get busy with hunting this spring.
I did a TON of research last year. I had a detailed & extensive map of locations plotted on my Google Earth.
I also want to be less 'private' and share my spots with other hunters. I need that motivational companionship (and knowledge/experience) to keep at it (and hunt properly!)
Anyways - I hope to be back for good now!
Will y'all forgive me

<grin!>
