One Rough Merc & A Few Wheats ~ Update: A rough Rosie as well!
Hello everyone ... got chance to hunt a 1940s rental house near my home for about an hour and a half yesterday evening. The house is in between renters and that's the only time I hunt it. I've dug a couple of Mercs and wheats there before so its always a fun hunt. Yesterday I dug a rough 1941 Merc (6-7 inches deep), 4 wheat cents, 1 clad quarter, 2 clad dimes, 4 clad nickels, a dozen memorial cents. Also dug a 1945 rabies vaccination tag in decent shape. It was a nice afternoon to get out and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air (as well as get my 1st Merc of the year).
