Probably my last metal detecting hunt in Pa. I leave for Arizona next Tuesday for the winter. I was bored sitting around the house and went to a place I have detected many times, for a couple of hours. Only found four cents. 3 Wheats and a Matron Head large cent I believe is an 1832. The sunshine really felt good. Thanks for looking and stay warm out there. IMG_0001.webpIMG_0002.webpIMG_0003.webp

Thanks, Tommy. Try to keep warm this winter and may every plug you dig have a keeper in it.

Nice LC! Finally a sunny day in W PA, but still very muddy. You’ll probably miss the clouds and rain at some point this winter, I’ll be sure to post some insitu pics of our PA muddy wet winter for ya. Congrats and safe travels.

I have done some prospecting there, but no big nuggets, only fine flower gold.

Congrats on a nice looking Large Cent, and enjoy Arizona !

Nice Large Cent....it looks to me like it's an 1817

If you saw it in person you could see the 32. Trying to clean the date made some of the corrosion look like part of the date.

Beautiful LC find. Congrats

Congratulations on the nice old coppers! :occasion14:
