Yep, I've dug some before at a Colonial house that I detected for about 7-8 years. Found some great CW relics there too. Man, I miss that place.They are called Hames Knobs / balls.
Thank you, that spot was super productive,I'll definitely be going back there .I believe I found a old dump of some kind not much iron at all , mostly all brass items and buckles.I believe most are of of harnesses for plowing the fields.I did find Two other items I found,I couldn't identify till this week I think they are oxen knobs.I have a problem,I'm addicted to detecting, Wish I started years ago.lolYep, I've dug some before at a Colonial house that I detected for about 7-8 years.
