If you’re planning a trip to Ophir Gulch in hopes of finding diamonds gold or anything other than a hard time and a lot of harassment, PUMP THE BRAKES!!! I took my family there and we camped in the gulch and surrounding area for a couple weeks. Never got to even sink a shovel. We were visited by every law agency in the land shortly after arriving there. Every inch of that area is claimed and we were watched and harassed by all of them including the locals the entire time we were there. If you go there, GOOD LUCK!!!
