Opinions needed best for $$$

OK, I'm a newbie but I have got bit really hard and want to find the best detector for coin hunting. Suggestions?? I'm not worried about the learning curve, I'll learn it no matter how long it takes. Looking to spend in the $1K mark. Thanks.

Check out the T2 forum at "finds treasure" and i think you can info on the T2...everyone has their own opinion. i bought 3 prior to the T2 and now i'm selling the other 3 i love the T2 and i have found coins at spots where the other 3 missed. The best thing to do is try to get an unbiased opinion such as real users because there are so many that say thers is the best.
