hey guys need a hand finding out what it is.
found some of these digging at about a meter deep.
soil is mostly clay with some small iron like stones, the area was once volcanic,
found in central victoria Australia.
some are magnetic and my pinpointer picks some of them up but not others,
covered in a tuff rust like layer of dirt, i took a wire brush to the outside of them they make sparks, they look a dark silver to the eye a sort of gun metal grey.
split one open and the inside is a reddish color with sparkly flecks.
doesn't take much to crack them open, but they are tuff.
