I use to live in Ashland but isn't Medford a long way from the beaches lol!

ahh sorry didn't change my profile, i just moved to coos bay

I lived in Coos Bay several years ago. Didn't do any metal detecting there at that time but you can find beach gold down at Whiskey Run beach on the way to Bandon. The gold is small but plentiful if you hit the right areas and lots of old artifacts seem to float up there as well not to mention the numerous golf balls that find there way over the cliff side from the course above.
