I was on route 50 (Colony dr.) when I saw a river crossing below this Rd.. I look a large river bank, may good to detect. People goes there for fishing. Anybody here has been there before? the river is between Winter garden and Kirkman rd.

Amona,

Give it a go but watch out for the alligators....

Good Luck

I don't know of any rivers in the area you mention. COLONIAL Drive (SR50) does cross directly over Lake Sherwood in the area you mention, and a small canal connects to two sections of the lake.

Lake Lotta and Lake Sherwood are the only bodies of water that are on both sides of Colonial in the area mentioned that I know of, and I think Sherwood is about 3/4 ths dried up at the moment.

I have never seen anyone detecting there myself. The only people I ever see there are fishing, and I have all the lead fishing weights I need at the moment.
