Relic Hunting
On a suggestion from a friend & veteran relic hunter, I secured permission for the Tenn. Trio to hunt a 1862-63 camp that had been hunted hard in the past. This camp was loaded with Williams Cleaner bullets as we found a few years ago. We had our annual Pre-Christmas hunt there recently. Only Tenn. Josh & longtime friend Jerry Watson were able to attend this year. Finds from that hunt are shown in the first pic. Later, Josh & I returned in very cold weather & our finds are shown in the 2nd pic. I dug the Sharps Carbine bullet & the clod and coated it for display as Josh did the 1876 IH. There was an early 1900s house & WW2 Army Maneuvers that overlay parts of the camp. Josh dug a gold plated Lt. bar on our 2nd hunt. Enjoy the video. Merry Christmas from the Trio.

Congratulations on your Beautiful finds from a fantastic camp site!

Looks like it's still a great site! That's a nice pile of lead and I like the dirt clod pictures. Hope you guys have a great Xmas!

Sweet permission spot. I bet those bullets were music to your ears inside the headphones.

Nice ones too.

Thanx for sharing

Nice presentation, Quindy .. Good to see that you are still getting out. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods, and I wish you a Very Merry Christmas!

Congrats on a great hunt at a great site! That 1876 IH is a stunner!...just ONE more year and that would have been a HUGE find. But I'd love to dig any Indian that nice...Ddf.

Thanks DDF. Josh had just dug it when we arrived at the site. It had a nice patina. Merry Christmas.

Waterscoop
Actually Waterscoop, The shallow ones have already been dug so we are now digging them 7+ in. The zinc disk does help. If we dig just the insert itself, it reads 18 on the F75. Merry Christmas.
