Greetings, We were up north camping a lot this summer. We had beautiful weather nearly every day. Did some detecting
at the campground and a couple places nearby. At the camp I found just under $3.00 in clad and at the other places only came up with 3 quarters and some pennies and nothing else, not even a friendship ring this time. Slim pickens. LOL.
The next post will have some pics at the campground, but while we were there, they had a car show in the town near there.
One of the attractions was the original car that was in the Walt Disney movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with Dick Van Dyke.
There is a pic of the poster, then 4 views of the car, and last is a pic of an old fire truck used by the Fremont County in
Wyoming. Not sure of the year of the truck or it's years of service.

Enjoy.

Glad y'all got out camping, Ray. I think I saw that car, but it was in a museum down around Hot Springs Arkansas, as some old boy from around there had created it for the movie. Could be mistaken. I remember the aquarium they had better, as they had some huge catfish in it.

RGINN, On the left side, behind the rear fender, is a snapshot album with about 100 photos of how they built it, right
from what they started with. It shows every step in the progress right up to the finish. It was really something with what they started with and to see all the things they had to do to make it come out the way it did.

I know what you mean about the catfish. Some of them get to be pretty huge.

Thank you for your nice reply.

Mike that was a good movie, wasn't it. I think we saw it 2 or 3 times.

Thanks for looking and your reply.
