Our First Find!

Welcome to the very addictive hobby. If it gets confusing or it seems like it's not worth it hang in there. Lots of practice is a must. Great advice can be found all over this site. Keep on diggin. A great find could be in the next hole. That's what makes it all worth it. If you don't give up you will be posting some nice things here. Best of luck to you.

Next time you go out you'll have the pleasure of knowing that you won't find them darned old nails again, not them two anyway. Keep sweeping that coil and good things will come to you!

Hiya beachcomber, may just be a couple of rusty nails but they are special as theyre your first finds- be sure to keep em, as if you stick with it you will have lots of other finds, but none other will be your first. Pride of place for these two beauties, welcome and keep swingin.

I seem to remember a certain member that collects nails (square ones I think) LOL

Keep at it! Nails were my first finds too in October. November's best finds were a couple RR spikes. Last week, I dug a Barber dime. Gets better all the time! Have fun!

Welcome to TNet and the world of treasure hunting.

A few rusty nais are expected. As time goes on you will find more interesting finds.

Good luck in 2008.

Happy Hunting
