Hit the beach for low tide last night, not the best conditions as any cuts were now gone and the beach had really flattened out some. What did look nice though was that there were a few riffle slews at the bottom of the slope and in the water which was where I spent most of my time. Cold but worth it! When I got the signal for the ring it was bouncing from a 12 to 13 but there was an iron sound with it making me think it may be a bottle cap (the EQX loves em for some reason...). It took me multiple tries to get it out (it was deep) and I was still unsure if I was wasting my time or not. When I finally got it out of the hole I couldn't find it in the scoop. I thought maybe it was a bottlecap or aluminum that the surge had washed outta the scoop. I was about to give it up for lost but checked around one last time and picked it up again just outside the hole. Very glad to see it wasn't another junk tgt! I guess the iron and crap it was laying out there with was causing all the bad signals as well. Love this EQX! It can really see through the junk!
10K 4.6 grams. I can see what school it is (not one around here) but there is no name or initials inside.
Thanks for looking and good luck out there!
