The box is perfect for holding your coins, SANMAN.

All the coins are recent drops. That thing tect any deeper than the surface?
Nice gas rebate, grats and let us know on depth. lol

I detect "the Sand", recent drops is all there ever is.

Depth is about 6", a bit more in wet conditions.

I gave my son one of these when he was 8 and wanted to hunt the beach with me (maybe an Amigo II - can't remember now...). It still works 23 years later but the only time he has used it recently was to locate his septic tank lids. At one time, it was the perfect kids' detector.

They are built tough, they'er good finders, and they don't weigh much.

Here's a kid having a grand ole time with one.

Yeah, this little thing is an Amigo II

The original Amigo was a big metal box with one of those "U" handles.

This little machine was a gift from DixieDigger down in Georgia.
The gain has been tweaked so this little guy is kinda nervous.
It's just a little jittery, if I bump the coil with my foot I hear a complaint.

They're narrow, they fit behind the seat of a pick up.

Thanks for those pics. Yes, the one I gave to my son was the Amigo II. Perfect for him then and I will not be surprised if it is still working when his son, our first grandson, is ready for it.
