Was out doing a hunt today and about an hour in I lost the threshold. So I thought with 52 hours on my first battery it just died.
Changed the battery and nothing. Unplugged the headphones and it works fine, put the old battery back in and it's fine.
So I thought it was my headphones. Came home and tested the headphones in the stereo and they work fine.

So the problem is in the jack on the machine, you'd think right.
Well I took my daughter headphones and they work fine plugged into the machine. :icon_scratch: except they don't have volume control so I'd be deaf if I used them, although I could have them just off my ears.
Has anyone ever had this problem before? Even used a different adapter from the headphones to the machine and it wouldn't work either.

Are you using or have you tried 1/4 inch connector headphones - not adapted from the smaller? That would be the next thing I'd look into if you haven't already.

worst case the headphones gave out, a great cheap alternative are the treasure wise headphones. hope you can figure out your issue there i can't do without headphones. good luck

It's just bizarre. My headphones work in everything but my metal detector. :BangHead:

I had a pair of audio 22 headphones and they worked great on the fisher but when i used them on my tesoro they don't work. freaky not sure why. but i don't think it is your machine

Definitely not the machine. Weirdest thing every and makes no sense.

It's the headphones.
