I've read posts of people saying buried treasure doesn't exist. I'm with them, buried treasure stories are just fairy tales.

Over $500,000 value in today's gold coin market is probably wayyyyy conservative. Depending on dates and mint marks it would probably run into millions. And there IS the possibility of more still there to be found.
