With the demands of work digging time has been at a premium to say the least. No choice as we have to fill the shifts. Of course the overtime might add that 3rd week to my UK trip. Day off and Navy Davy and I were going to hit the road for a dig but we choose not to go as the weather was on the "dark side."
Around noon with the house work done another choice....this one was easy. To dig or not to dig! Next choice was harder. Where to go and I'm sure we have all asked that at one time or another. Made up my mind and decided on a few local spots.
Next choice was the toughest. Digging out my Garrett arsenal.....which machine to take. Freedom 11, Freedom 3, Freedom 3 Plus or Freedom CDC. The choice did not seem that hard as the Freedom 11 had fresh batteries in it. Four spots and 2.5 hours later quota was had. Sure nice to just get out....but that has not been my choice!

That's a whopping big pile ! I really like that gear shift knob, LOL

Quite a nice pile! And I can't help but think of my grandmother's old faucets that have handles just like that one!

You must have made some good choices to find all those targets, Congrats on getting out and rescuing all those buried coins and other targets. :occasion14:

Looks like you made all the right choices!
Nice array of goodies! Congrats!

2.5 hours?!?!? WOW!

The streets of Nova Scotia were paved with coins at one time ? You folks up there always seem to do well. Way to go.

It's good to hear you got out. Work has been getting in my way of digging so I understand your frustration.

Keep saving for that UK trip you speak of and good luck!

Steve
