Such a weird day. My Fisher went on the fritz early in the morning, and I had to send it back again to them today. Ugh. (they were great about it). I figured it was the end of the day's hunt early. It was super hot and humid anyway, so I was good with it for the most part.
But then I fired up the BH Tracker IV and hit the yard instead of going up to the farm. I wasn't expecting much as I've hit the yard repeatedly with the Fisher. Well, it didn't take long to start finding all sorts of things. How they were missed is still puzzling me. I have no idea, but bring it on!
Late into the day I stumbled upon a signal that I dug. To my surprise, it looked like part of a a deformed horse shoe. Thanks to a friend, and some folks in the What is It? forum, it turns out I found an ox shoe. (I've lived in my home for 21 years, and know it was built on an old farm.)
Cool or what?!
