Sorry the pics are kind of crappy, my dlsr crapped out. The painting was cheap enough, I paid $6 for it.
 

An American Painter... J.C. Michelet. Seems like a nice price to pay, even for a couple turkeys! :laughing7: Values for said artist are all over the place, so it's best to do some research if you plan to re-sell it! Nice Job:hello2:

Maybe that dude he wasn't really a painter... Not the best painting

To each their own. Not a subject I care much about, but I think it shows talent. It's a lot easier to put a bunch of smudges on canvas and call it impressionist than it is to go for some detailed realism. JMO

Bernitup had it right, J.C. Michelet is from Mobile, AL. Not too far from me.
