Paleo or Archaic Knife?

It took me a few days of coming up dry, but it was all worth it when i dugg this baby out!
This is one of my best finds at this place I have been looking over.. This keeps my hopes up for a better find..

Notice the consistency of the flaking pattern running from the left downward to the right, like a barber pole.

Very early.

All I can say is, it is incredible this remained in one piece. Very nice, ink-a-alot. I'm guessing it wasn't out of the dirt very long. A recent washout, perhaps?

It took me a week of hard digging and sifting too find that baby, I wish yall the best of luck on yall's hunts.

That too is a Scottsbluff. If you look at some that have little or now resharpening, you can see clearly that it has the Scottsbluff style stem. It has been resharpened several times, or it would have been an inch or two longer and at least twice as wide!!
I might add too that the last owner of that thing did a lil traveling. The material is Ouachita quartzite. It comes from the Ouachita mts. in S.E. Oklahoma/S.W. Arkansas. (About Two hours from Mt.Pleasant)

A nice material many old point types are made from
And one the Calf Creek culture liked in South Oklahoma..............a very knappable material
