I found the same button (in my pasture) as you, that has the "eagle, anchor, and cannonballs". I found one similar on eBay about a year ago. The seller had it classified as a WWI Marine button but I honestly don't know how accurate the description was. My button was missing the back so I could not pull any information from that side. Hopefully someone who knows might chime in.
