Finally took a few days off from the grind. The beaches finally opened for the year. I will just say many,

many targets to be had for the would be metal detector. Just me, myself and I... (+ the CTX of course). Day 1 just me,

but on day 2 had some competition (3 others to be exact). I would say I did ok for 2 days. Scored two silvers and a few

junkers. I recovered just about every good signal I heard.. plus the trash.. cans, bottle tops, lids, pull tabs, foil ect...

The Hoover Boys said "dig it all"... Youtube.. so I did. Total clad was over $25......

That's a nice haul for a few days strolling the beaches here in Illinois. Put that clad into the gas tank & get you some ice cream.
