Hey all! Hit a local park with Max and the Guru today. Started feeling left out after Max pulled a gold ring and then he and Guru (only a few feet apart) both hit another ring each (believe they were both junkers, maybe silver but you'll have to see Max's video later on) and I still had nothing more than clad and TONS of pulltabs and can slaw but knew I was digging the right tgts (damm if some of those pulltabs and small foil pieces don't SOUND like GOLD.....) so I wasn't too discouraged.
Patience finally paid off and I got a nice LOW tone and a reading of 115 on Ron's 180 meter. (using it on the GT with the 5" coil) and, BAM! There she was!

1.5 g/14k
Here is all the other "stuff", pulled $2.29 in clad (most coins at one time for me), a Chuck E. Cheese token, and a .38 special cartridge.

And of course, the CRAP! Figure I'm gonna have more $ in aluminum and copper by the end of the year to pay for BOTH detectors!
