Went out for the search of copper fond a few pound all I'm going to say.
the White's surf Master,Amphibian 2 .land an sea,ran like a champ found some nice pieces.lots of strong quarter half dollar hits,it's was either a penny size piece or up to a 7 once piece of crusher copper some were down 6 to 7 inch, when that happen it's normally a bigger piece.

I took a break that when I notices the partridge were drumming and a guy walked by with a silver colored lab.Such a pretty color.I asked if I could fill my water bottle from his out side spic-kit.He said go right a head so I did. Then went back looking for more copper.Seen to deer on the way in to town on my mountain bike. The river are up,an soon the smelt will be
running.once the ice is of the lake, Summer will be on it's way up here in the U.P.and old man Winter will have lost his grip.

:laughing9: :laughing9: :laughing9: WOW!!! What a crappy detector telling you it's a quarter or a half dollar underneath your coil and your digging up copper ore, At least my Garrett tells me it's copper before I dig!!!! :laughing9: :laughing9: :laughing9:

There no meter just sound and the sound was my speaker winding out over the nice fined under my loop.White's detector simply the best.man doe's that detector hit hard.

So what do you do with that copper ore? Can you take it down to a metal yard or do you have to refine it? just curious. Didn't know that old school detector didn't have a display. Mine hits pretty hard on copper dug up a 4 inch piece of copper tube at 12 inches read in the copper range on the VDI. Also had a nice quarter hit and it buried the depth meter at 10+ inches on the display, Dug and Dug and found a 1986 clad quarter at about 12 1/2 to 13 inches. Boy was I pissed!!! LOL How a new quarter got that deep, Beats the hell out of me.
