Very Odd ! I Never knew who Did this Song But back in the Mid '70's some Friends & I would travel down around Berks & Lehigh County While Partying 
(not alcohol 
was a Different time, Different Rules of the road... Dazed and Confused )
& Turn off the main road, then I would Drive around till I Felt Lost & about midnight Follow Instinct to Get home by Sun-up.
2 Places I Remember stuckey's, where I Would stop for Munchies & pass a place with a sign or murel that read Pat Travers ? not sure why , but I Thought Pat Travers Was a Country Western Dive, So I Would have NEVER Listened to a Pat travers Song if my life Depended on it.
