It gets picked over daily. There are float trips, guides, canoe rentals, etc. It's amazing how much is still found in that river. There are a lot of fossil creeks in Florida that are good although private land & gators are an issue.I have thought about taking a trip down that way and diving it, is it pretty picked over or does it wash out new stuff occasionally?
You have to find the right spots where the crowds dont go, i can gaurentee a meg or something funky every time..just gotta know where to lookI have thought about taking a trip down that way and diving it, is it pretty picked over or does it wash out new stuff occasionally?
pretty much from October to early march its in flood stage due to hurricanes and such. In this mans opinion the river will never be picked clean due banks getting washed out, trees, etc. Peace river fossils are deposits from the surrounding land.I have thought about taking a trip down that way and diving it, is it pretty picked over or does it wash out new stuff occasionally?
