I found hundreds with my metal detector in socal. When I file them down, I noticed gold flakes everywhere . Did I hit jackpot ? I'll give half of whatever we find if u can help me get his of them and identify them 🙏

Hmmm, looks like possible iron pyrite. An inexpensive vile of gold test acid (available on A**zon or Fleabay) will tell the tale.

Hi. Its looks like a simple hotrock.
Very curious as to why you neglected to include a picture of all the filed down gold for us to see. You show a picture with no visible gold yet say you saw visible gold when filed.
My call is "Bravo Sierra".
Recently another was here with the same writing style and offer with some bogus gold rocks claiming they were full of gold but didn't show any.
