Two days ago I found a 1918 Mercury dime out side an old farm house about 8 inches down. A couple dollars in clad also. I know there is more there but will take patience. Today I went to help a fellow who stopped in family's shop. He asked if I would be willing to look for a pendant lost at his old house. In a fit of rage his old girlfriend broke into his house and along with destroying several things through his new girl's pendant into the yard. The pendant was given to his new girl by her parents. After an hour or so of searching he found it . I let him use my old detector will I used a new one. The old one pulled through. He was elated. I heard him yelling " I found, I found it!" even with my headphones on. He had offered to pay me before hand but I declined. He gave my wife her pick of some movies which was thoughtful. He said the pendant was valued at $2,000. It was worth more than that to see the look on his face. What a day!
