Found a '66 Rosie up high near the dunes today. Totally covered in hard green corrosion. Any thoughts about how long it's been laying there?

Could've been a Tuesday ! Kidding aside when the coins have a nice green layer they have been in a place a long time , when I find greenies down at the water line older finds are not too far away! Usually the result of lots of sand movement or serious tide action , being as you found this by the dune I don't know what it means for your beach , on Long Island if there brown they been moving around, if there green your at the right scene! Look at that I'm a poet, ( next I'll tell of the MD 'R from Nantuket who's scoop was so shitty he chucked it )
