Well, I finally got my first Indian today an 1892!!! WOOHOOO even tho i have only found 2 1800's coins it is a TOTAL rush when it happens, my favorite metal detecting finds are old coins... I obtained permission to hunt a VERY old home (1892 same year as the Indian), in Lincoln and got it there along with a couple wheaties and memorials. I have only covered a very small portion of the property and cant wait to continue grid-ding the rest of it..

I got the Merc in a park up in Oroville when i was there taking care of my mom and the two Rosies came from local OLD ball fields.... SORRY for the CRAPPY iPhone photos, didn't want to drag out the DSLR's for nothing really special.. I save those shots and work for key dates and seateds!!!

real nice real nice. That scratch was on there when you dug it up. :-X

Nice digs! Ya finding anything old is a rush. I could find a chunk of "what the heck is this" And get a rush, if I know its from before the 21st century. Good luck on your next dig! :headbang:
