I have a 9.5" coil on my DFX for beach work and it performs very well wet and dry, down to 10-11" on coins. What kind of performance can i expect out of this coil in the wet sand and general dry beach sand? I ask because this coil is a DD type coil and discrimination tends to be less robust than the concentrics. The 9.5 coil and the signalgraph can almost always tell me when i have a bottle-cap in the sand and i don't want to degrade this ability significantly, i hate digging bottle-caps
. I would like some more depth and i hear this coil can surpass the 9.5", is this the case from your experience?
