This is not political.
One of the candidates for president was obliged to go to France for five months and knock on doors from sun up to sun down. It was a required part of his missionary work.
After five months of knocking on doors...(as he told the story)..in a city of 250, 000 residents...
...not a single Frenchman was converted.
