Live in an area where fossils are common. Had a friend that swore he found a small dinosaur skeleton. Really looked like one, but a couple of other teachers and collectors told him no. He wouldn't believe us, took it to UT Austin and was very unhappy to find out that he had some Edwards Limestone that looked like it had once been alive. The moral? Go ask some real experts in the field. Yours lookes good, but who knows...

I thought so too, until it was all shot down on here. It's hard to capture exactly what you have through a photo so you should take it to an expert. I could post a hundred more, but I guess it's all coincidence and not even a hand print or scute fossil is enough evidence. Doesn't help it's permineralized and has erosion from glacial melt.
