Petrified Croc head and a ??

This is a few of my pieces I got off of the Brazos river.. The Crocadile or Alligator head is a given I believe? but the other white& gray stone is a type of bird head or another Croc or gator?? It has perfect impressions of the eye, beak or bill? and a split along the jaw line in the side profile? Thanks for any time...

Your second photo just looks like a rock. The sedimentary layers just appear to the eye to be a form. Good fossil on the first photo.

The Crocadile or Alligator head is a given I believe?

Nuttin's ever a given. Is your scale in inches, feet, cm? Crocodiles and alligators have eye sockets about 1/4 of the skull length in from the back of the skull. And all vertibrates have a dorsal skull opening for the spine and notocord, blood vessels, etc. The eyes are kind of unusual, also. Being soft tissue they don't fossilize well. Even the newest hatched of crocs and alligators also display a lot of teeth.

Looks more like a preying mantis than a croc. No idea what it is - eroded end of a femur, tibia or ulna bone with fossilized cartiledge appearing as the "eyes"?

Might as well go all out and say it's a geosaurus skull.

Thank you all... I am not familiar with many types of fossils, I have just been lucky over the years to see odd things in my travels.. I am open to any ideas of what people think they might be, so that I may have some point to research.. This is a small piece I found on the San Bernard river TX.... Thanks Mike -and all of my scale is on inch's-
