Have been passing this rock for 25 years now over a friends house in NJ. He lives on the Rancocas Creek and he said its been there when he moved in. I'm thinking it was brought here from the previous owners. I think the house was built in the 40s. It's heavy and measures aprox 12"x 12" x 20"
This is the only picture I took but if anyone wants I can take more

Is there any value to it, the pic is where it's been for a long time and that's a 4x4 alongside, should it be indoors?

It looks like a good size piece pf petrified wood. Some have value but only to the right person.
I have one very large piece that is displayed in my office, but indoors or out does not really matter.
My big display piece was in a fire when one of my business' burned down.
I went out there and dug through the area I knew it was at and found it. It looked the same as the day I found it.

Quite plentyful out here in the west (North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Etc,..). Value runs around 8 cents a pound.
