Hello Joshua,

Are you sure that this is an overshot? Is the 90 degree part of the flake broken off?

Yes, pretty sure. These items have been handled by lots Archaeologists and included in a couple of research pools.

This picture is the dorsal side with a decent amount of flaking, and maybe the remnants of a previous overshot. The proximal/platform end is up top. The distal side is damaged, it probably fractured like yours do:

Here are a couple of people looking at the group. (Dennis Stanford's Obit was posted a couple of days ago, a great guy.) This piece was in that group, I think it was likely the one I have circled towards the bottom of the pic. I have most of the Overshots in that part of the frame.
