Well today I received calls from a couple of my pickup banks. Each one told me that the central vault didn't have any boxes of halves but they could get them in bags. Has anyone experienced this before?
I went ahead and told them to ship me the bags. I figured at least I will get some halves but didn't know if there would be any chance of finding something good.. HH!

Bags are cheaper for them to process then send them through the rollers. You might also be getting someones dumps that used the coinloc bags. After verification they might have just dumped them
into the bags you are getting. I know in my area that they are all boxed, travel 7 miles into another district and they are all bags.
Anybodys guess..

The bags thing could be really good though too. It may mean that they are having trouble getting their current supply. I've seen this before. When the armor truck company has trouble with their supplier, they may switch. Which means you are getting access to a new or different market and reserve of coins than before. If your experience matches the one that I am familiar with, you will get those bags for a while. Then, a new type of boxes will start showing up. They will look different than the old boxes that you used to get because they will be from somewhere else. In my case, it was from somewhere more remote, less searched. Which meant all of the sudden they were bursting with older coins and silver. Now I'm back to the point where that area has been searched out again. It's really dried up. But if you can hang in there for somewhere between six months to a year—you may be loving life!

Thanks for the info. Just picked up my first 1k bag and can see at least 40 of the same mark. Maybe there's something good in there too.

Good luck with the bag, I have been offered bags before but, the vault teller kept shying me away from ordering them saying that they are the bags that get turned in and they aren't verified before they ship them to her and they could just be the bags that someone like me dropped off. I would try them though, you get the chance of finding a loaded bag, instead of finding whats left of it after it's dumped in the hopper and sorted into many boxes. HH, Maverick.

Thanks for the information! I plan on staying at this for the long haul so I'll see how it turns out.

Did you find anything? Maverick.
