I couldn't manage to attach this picture to a PM, so I'll take the easy route. Here is a picture of a fern fossil I found in nearby woods.

Hey Halfdime, nice fern fossil, I have hunted fossils in OK & AR for many years, I swam in the old strip pits when I was growing up, beautiful blue water, & very deep.
Later my children enjoyed the same, ( now they are being reclaimed, sadly),
(the strip pits, not the children,LOL).

So as the old saying goes ( when in Rome, do as the Romans do), I lived near fossils, so I started trading fossils, I have amassed a good collection of rocks & minerals by trading at rock swaps & rock shops.
