Picture of April find and 3 one hour hunts this week

Noticed this morning there was a made the banner at the bottom of my avatar, for the match tin I
found in early April. Back then I didn't know how to post pictures yet. I brought some of this years
finds with me when I meet up with Lowbatts, Watercolor, and Mayo for a hunt in a ccfp April 11.
I showed them this engraved piece and didn't know what it was. One or all of them said it was a tin
to hold matches so they would stay dry. The ship that was destroyed in Havana was the Maine. Didn't
think any more about this find until today so I did my best to take a good picture of it, the lid part was
missing. Don't recall mentioning this find in any of my post because I didn't think it was anything. The
finds for this week were a 10kgf ring, 42s war nickel, and 37,40 53d,57d Wheaties. Hunted after work
3 times. Thanks HH DFW

My banner find is all the good folk I've gotten to hunt with from around here, but they said that picture might scar some of the younger and more sensitive members.....

That match-tin was a super find and was even cooler to see it in person.

It seems those war nickels are getting harder & harder to find these days. . . :P
