These are some various worked tools/scrapers that I found at my spot this past Sunday. There seem to be a large assortment of scrapers as well as different rocks that were worked. Luckily a member from the board has offered to go hunting with me this weekend so I can find a clue!! :hello2: :hello2:

In the meantime here are some tools and as complete of a piece of pottery as I could keep together. It can make for a heavy backpack when collecting stone pottery!

I hope everyone is having a great week and thanks again for all of the help.

You are starting to find a bunch of good looking stuff. You guys in and around Austin are going to have a good time. Keep us all posted on your multi componet site. Looks pretty cool.

Congrats! It's good to see another newbie's hard work and determination is paying off. Good luck on your future hunts.

Next to last picture, on the left, top edge (facing the camera) shows what's called a bend break. Most likely the point was embedded (blade edges oriented north/south) and the shaft torqued to one side, snapping the point in half. The rounded leading edge of the break tells the tale.
