Pieces of Eight - Real or Impostor

Metal Detecting on the beach I found what appears to be a real Piece of Eight. What is the best way to find out if it is real or not. Thanks for your help.

What is it made of? Looks to me like one of the tourist recreations i bought for my son in England back in 1976. Not roan because the numbering is wrong and 731 iust to old to be spanish. You need to ascertain the type of metal then have a lab analyze a smear to determine possible origin to know if real or not.
