[Lost Signal]

It's been sloooooow around here. So, when I'm desperate, I detect my own yard. There must have been an oyster cannery near by because we find tokens from three or four different oyster companies all over my one-acre lot. The token site says Varn and Byrd were in business from 1898 to 1908, but they were south of Charleston. We're north. I'm not sure why these particular tokens are here.

Anyway, I'd rather be finding colonial relics, but this is some nice local history.

I'd be thrilled to find those! NJ is devoid of tokens for the most part. If you even get tired of finding them in your yard, LMK and I'll take a road trip to help out. Love SC...great finds!
