pinpointing on quattro/explorer

One more question for the minelab users. When pinpointing with the quattro, you have a separate screen with bar graphs that fill up the closer the object gets to the coil. My question is will deep objects sometimes not fill up the bar graph completely, yet still be under the coil?

Dr Jones the quatro bars will not fill on deep targets. When they reach there peak they are nearest the coil.It is only the shallow targets that will fill all the bars when you are directly over the top of the target. Have a look at the Minelab site, WWW.minelab.com
then go to quatro and have a look at the feild tests they give a good explanation on pin pointing the machine. Hope I have helped good luck you have a good machine seeya Neilo
