I dug this 1946 Pitman-Moore rabies tag today and surface found this BIG marble on the river bank.
Interesting story of the Pitman-Moore company. Established in 1914 and became a manufacturer of animal health products. Pretty much a monopoly due to its large "clean" and scientifically prepared serum.
The marble on the other hand is the largest I have ever found. It is a deep and solid royal blue.
Not your typical swirly type that I am familiar with anyway.
Any marble experts out there who can guess on the age of this?
