places to detect in minnesota

anyone know of any places to detect in minnesota around the mayo clinic? I have a family member at the mayo clinic being treated and was wondering if there was any places (parks ect) to detect around that area. I'm leaving in the morning and my detector is tagging along .

There is one large park in Rochester, I think the lake near it is Silver Lake. As I recall part of the lake is heated and some Canadian geese stay there year round. If you are detecting there, you might have to put up with goose poop. I'm sure there are other parks and playgrounds in Rochester, but the ground it still frozen up here and will be for another month more than likely and you might find a few inches of snow still on the ground. I'm in West Central Minnesota and still have 2 inches of snow and ice on the ground.
