Plated Brass with stars

Here's another item I found in a civil war camp yesterday in west central Mississippi. It's obviously small and not complete but I'm hoping someone can shed some light on what this could be or could've been. It's thin stamped brass with 7 five pointed stars showing. It was silver plated. I'm posting a front and back view.
